Fans that bought game 5 Thunder tickets were disappointed when the team was able to complete the sweep and end [...]

Fans that bought game 5 Thunder tickets were disappointed when the team was able to complete the sweep and end the season for the defending champs. The Mavericks certainly tried their best but the Thunder offense and youth proved to be too much for this rebuilding team. With 106 points in the 4 game series for Kevin Durant and 89 points for Russell Westbrook, the Thunder is looking to dominate the Western Conference. Fans await the outcome of the Lakers vs. Nuggets series before purchasing their tickets to the next series. If the Thunder want to get farther in the playoffs, they will need to learn from each playoff game.

Game 1 vs. Dallas

The first game of the series certainly sold out of Thunder tickets quickly! The team was able to show just how young this team is as they looked fairly nervous. Oklahoma was down by 7 points with only 2:30 left in the game but they were able to pull off the improbable first game win with Durant’s game winning shot from the foul line. With Ibaka’s 22 points, the Thunder won 99-98 at home.

Game 2 vs. Dallas

Game two at home showed a more confident Thunder team but they still struggled to close the Mavs out. This was a very close game as Dirk was able to score 31 points but Durant’s clutch free throws in the closing minute proved to be the deciding factor in game two. Thunder pulled out another close win with a final score of 102-99.

Game 3 @ Dallas

Those that bought Thunder tickets for game 3 certainly expected this to be a closer game but the Mavs simply were not there. OKC was able to cruise to victory with Durant’s 31 points and the bench was on fire as well. Derek Fisher and James Harden were able to chip in 10 points each and the Thunder finished with a 95-79 win.

Game 4 @ Dallas

The Mavericks showed a lot of heart in game 4 and they certainly showed why they were the defending champions. However, James Harden was able to show everyone why his team is a legit contender to be this year’s champs. He scored 15 of his 29 points in the final quarter and the Thunder capped off the sweep by not allowing the Mavs to score another field goal in the final 5:47 of the game. Durant’s 24 points with Harden’s career game helped propel the Thunder into the second round with a 103-97 win.

Thunder In The Second Round

The Thunder players are now awaiting for the outcome of the Lakers vs Nuggets series and most people will think that they are rooting for the Nuggets but this might not be the case. The Thunder match up perfectly with the Lakers and they are hoping that the Nuggets will falter against Kobe and company. The Thunder only lost once against the Lakers and they have the talent to simply get through the second round if indeed the Lakers win the series against the Nuggets.

If the Thunder want to get through the West and into the Finals, they will need to play with the intensity that they had against the Mavericks. The road to the Finals will only get harder from here and so they really needed this sweep against the Mavericks to boost their confidence. Make sure you are there the next time they have their next home game. Buy your Thunder tickets today and cheer them to victory!

The Oklahoma Thunder entered the playoffs as the second seed and will play the defending champions Dallas Mavericks. The Oklahoma City Thunder only fell behind the San Antonio Spurs in the regular season with a 47-19 record, only three games behind the Spurs. However, this was still good news as the Thunder will have home court advantage in the first round against the Mavericks. Buy your Thunder tickets today and help support the team to victory!

Dallas Vs Oklahoma

It was fairly obvious that Dallas’ goals were to sacrifice this year and simply rebuild by the time 2013 comes around. However, this series will definitely not be easy for the Thunder as Dirk Nowitzki and company will not back down. Jason Kidd is a veteran leader that knows how to win and so the Thunder will have their hands full. It was very impressive that Dallas was able to still make it into the playoffs but they are currently losing 1-0 as Kevin Durant made a game winner in Game 1. However, this series is not yet over but most analysts believe the Thunder will win within 5 games.

Keys To Winning The Playoffs

Russell Westbrook

If the Thunder want to get out of the West alive, they will need to make sure that Russell Westbrook learns from his 2011 meltdown. Westbrook has proved to have improved over the course of the season and continues to be an elite point guard in the NBA. This is good news for those fans that have already purchased their Thunder tickets. I know I would be pissed if I went to a game and saw Westbrook completely meltdown.

Injuries And Health

For the Thunder to succeed, James Harden needs to be healthy. Harden is the favorite to win the 6th man award and definitely deserves a lot of credit for the Thunder’s success in the league this year. He will need to recover from his mild concussion that he got from Metta World Peace.

Get Fueled From The First Round

This is Oklahoma’s chance to get revenge after the Mavericks’ knocked the Thunder out in 2011. The Thunder need to get fueled and to ride the first round with a lot of energy to be able to get into the second round.

Dominate Kobe Bryant

The Thunder will most likely face the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round as they will more than likely knock the Denver Nuggets out. This will be a highly anticipated match up, so buy your Thunder tickets today! Kevin Durant and company will need to work together to stop the best player in the league and get out of the second round and into the Western Conference Finals where they will face the #1 seed Spurs.

Outrun The “Old and Young”

The Spurs will most likely be the team to beat in the West and will be the Thunder’s biggest challenge. If they are able to get through the Spurs in the Western Conference finals, they will then need to get through the younger batch of James, Wade and Bosh. The Heat will be the Thunder’s final match up and would make for an extremely entertaining Finals.

The Thunder’s bid for the Championship is certainly not impossible and head coach Scott Brooks will be better off just letting his talented group of players take over and win the games for Oklahoma. The team has been preparing all season for the playoffs and they definitely look more than ready to take it all the way. Make sure you are there when this happens by buying your Thunder tickets now!

Even though the past two weeks on the road haven’t been the best for Thunder tickets, the team still sits at the top of the Western Conference. Their 26-7 record has kept them at the number 3 position in the NBA power rankings again and they will hope to keep Spurs and the Clippers at bay.

The Spurs and the Clippers have been closing in, sitting at 4th and 5th respectively on the power rankings tables. The fact that they lost on the road to both teams in the last two weeks hasn’t helped. I believe that the reason the Oklahoma City Thunder lost was a weak defense.

Although there have been encouraging signs from a number of players, they have not really delivered consistently on both sides of the court. Their team stats for their offense and defense just doesn’t add up. Currently they are ranked in 3rd place for team offense and 8th for team defense. If the team wants to continue selling Thunder tickets, they will have to really step things up. In their last four games the results of the games were all decided in the dying seconds and these results often are based on heroic defensive efforts. Be sure you buy your Thunder tickets early to reserve your chance to see another clutch win.

Their only saving grace has been that both teams chasing them in the West are struggling ever more on defense. The Oklahoma City Thunder would however need to concentrate on keeping things tight down the stretch and making sure that they don’t give up in those dying seconds. It might still have a huge impact on their drive towards the play offs in the coming months.

They did however end their five game road trip with a good win over Utah. Fans that purchased Oklahoma City Thunder tickets that night got to walked off the court having notched up a good 101-87 win over the Utah Jazz. In the seven games leading up to the All-Star weekend, they will be playing six at home. Cheap Thunder tickets are available for purchase, please click the Thunder tickets tab. All of their opposition in these upcoming games are ranked well below them. This could be an ideal opportunity for them to pull away from the other teams in the West and put them in a commanding position after the All-Star break.

It doesn’t look like there will be any letting up by their star players either, all of whom are in good health. Russell Westbrook also picked up the Western Conference Player of the Week award last week. With his dynamic guard team mate, James Harden, and with Kevin Durant running things closer to the basket, the Oklahoma City Thunder look to be in good shape.

Coach Brooks will however have no rest during the All-Star game and has the honor of coaching the Western All-Stars. Along with the rest of the coaching staff for the Thunder, this will once again make for an entertaining match up as they go head to head with the East. Kevin Durant will start for the West, while Westbrook will come off the bench.

With each passing game the Oklahoma City Thunder keep improving and if everyone stays healthy they will become near unstoppable. With a relatively young squad, it is amazing how they have come together to produce some spectacular results in the past few months. Buy your Thunder tickets now to ensure you are able to see this team at its best.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have had a more than decent start of the season with 10 wins and 2 losses [...]

The Oklahoma City Thunder have had a more than decent start of the season with 10 wins and 2 losses in the first dozen games. Even though they lost last year’s conference final 4-1 to the Dallas Mavericks, the team showed tremendous strength and togetherness. After 2 preseason wins against the Mavericks, the Thunder did not disappoint the fans that bought Thunder tickets for this season opener against the Orlando Magic. They won that game 97 to 89 with Kevin Durant outshining just about everyone else on the court. Sure, the Magic players couldn’t have been in the perfect mindset, with their star player Dwight Howard demanding a trade, but a win is a win. Make sure you are there for the next time they win, buy your Oklahoma City Thunder tickets now!

In the 4 games that followed, the Thunder were able to win against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Memphis Grizzlies, Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns. Durant was stunning during the first 4 games as he managed over 30 points in each and completed his first double-double against the Mavericks. He would only need to score 30 points in the next game to tie the legendary Michael Jordan record of scoring 30 or more points in the first 5 games. Be sure you have your OKC Thunder tickets ready for that event! Unfortunately, Durant couldn’t keep things going in the 5th game and only managed 12 points against the Suns. The Suns couldn’t cope with Durant, Westbrook, Cook and all the other players together, as Oklahoma showed awesome team spirit and won 107 to 97. So far, the Oklahoma City Thunder were having their best start of the season since 1998. Join them at their next game by purchasing your Thunder tickets now! The team is poised to continue shattering records and putting on a great show.

The second game the Thunder faced off against the Mavericks didn’t go so well. They were completely outplayed both offensively and defensively by the Mavericks, as they made full use of home court advantage. The final result was 100-87 and the first flaws in their play started to become visible. Next, the Portland Trail Blazers came to visit the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. That’s when the Thunder showed some real flaws, as LaMarcus Aldridge and his team showed why they were currently at the top of the Western conference. Oklahoma made a complete mess of it and lost 103 to 93. Fans started wondering if expectation were to high to buy Thunder tickets based on the first 5 games.

But the character of the Thunder players was made evident in the 2 games against Houston. Durant started to shine again and the team kept it together against one of the favorites at the start of this season. With the moral back on the high side, the Thunder managed 3 more consecutive wins against San Antonio Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies and the New Orleans Hornets. We could only hope that this wining streak would continue and Thunder tickets would sell out. However, with the Spurs not looking as dangerous as they did last season, none of these wins were unexpected. Nevertheless, with a 10-2 record and having scored more than 100 points in 6 games so far, the Thunder looks as menacing as ever. The Knicks come to visit this Saturday and it’s going to be an amazing contest. With Carmelo Anthony looking like a true superstar, the Thunder will need to find a way to keep it together. If they can do it this weekend and against Boston on Monday, the Thunder will benefit from a relatively less stressful run of fixtures. As long as the defense will hold, there is no reason to think that the Thunder won’t be able to reach the play-offs from 1st place.

The Oklahoma City Thunder is one of the teams that people are looking out for this upcoming season. One of the many reasons to watch out for them is because they are on the verge of a breakthrough. This team has done so much last season that are poised to do even better this season because they have the same young players. A lot of fans were disappointed when they lost against the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals but the team is ready to bounce back. Many have anticipated a good season this year and have already bought their Thunder tickets

In an interview with Kevin Durant, he said that the team is excited for the upcoming season and that they now know the importance of every possession. They believe that even one possession has the power to alter the outcome of an entire game. This means that people should expect a Thunder team that is more willing to dive for loose balls, grab rebounds and make plays on every possession. This should make for a very exciting and fast paced game. If you want to join in all the fun, be sure to purchase your Thunder tickets now before all the seats sell out.

Russell Westbrook is a player that caused a lot of controversy during their last playoff run because he shot the ball too much instead of getting it to the hands of their best player. He tried to do too much by himself which might have arguably cost them a game or two. This season though, he has learned from his mistakes. He mentioned that he was watching some tapes from last season and knows what he has to do to help his team win. Both Durant and Westbrook are very close and their closeness is only surpassed by their will to win the championship this season. They have each other’s back which means that the Thunder will be ready for any adversity that they will face. Be sure to buy your Thunder tickets now so that you can watch this tag team mix it up on the court.

Kendrick Perkins will be the main difference for this team this season. He was not in the best condition when he joined the Thunder and still had a lot to learn. Now that he has played a few games and lost some weight, he is ready to dominate all those who try to score. He will be the key defensive player when the Thunder faces off against teams like the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics and other teams with a lot of offensive power.

Coach Scott Brooks is preaching defense to his team. This is a great strategy because most teams have a group of players that are considered to be scoring machines. This also makes a lot of sense because OKC is one team that will not have any problem getting someone to score. With Durant, Westbrook and Harden ready to score, the defense will have a hard time defending this team. But with the work that they are putting on their defense right now, it will be a challenge to score against this team. All in all, this team is looking great! Be sure your ready when the season starts by buying your Thunder tickets early.

When the Dallas Mavericks eliminated the Oklahoma City Thunder from the playoffs last year, Kevin Durant and company knew that 2012 will be a special year. Though the NBA lockout has the team waiting for the season to start, players like Durant are definitely not letting time go by. There are a few YouTube clips of the superstar scoring up to 66 points in various charity games against the likes of Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James. What exactly do Oklahoma fans have to look forward to? After three seasons in Oklahoma, they just might have themselves a title contender.

Key Players To Drive The Team

It is definitely obvious the Kevin Durant is the team captain of the team and can literally score anytime that he wants but there are several key players that will have to step up in order for them to get back into the playoffs.

Serge Ibaka and Nick Collison will have to play very big in order to play against the premier big men in the league. Serge has developed to become one of the most athletic centers in the league and can be compared to Dwight Howard. If the Thunder want to truly excel in the West, these two players will have to play the center position perfectly.

As one of the most underrated players in the league, James Harden will be the main role player on the team. He is a terrific shooter and has actually shown that he is more athletic compared to what many scouts thought. If James Harden is able to have the best year of his career, the Thunder will definitely find their way to the playoffs again.

If the Thunder get to the playoffs, it will be up to Russell Westbrook and Nate Robinson to lead the way as their two point guards. A team will only get as far as their point guards will take them and in today’s league, the point guard spot is the most important. Many will say that the reason the Thunder lost last year to the Lakers was because of Russell Westbrook and how he was not able to perform under pressure. If Russell can mature and learn from his mistakes, the Thunder will easily be one of the favorites to come out of the west.

2010 coach of the year Scott Brooks will be the brain behind the 2012 season. If Brooks’ system can prove to work under pressure, the West will have a tough time taming the Thunder.

The Thunder drafter 6’3 Reggie Jackson out of Boston College and scouts are expecting this kid to definitely grow with the current bunch. The organization is hoping that he will soon blossom and help play the guard spot for Oklahoma.

When the 2012 season finally starts, it will be fun to use my Thunder tickets and see whether this team will be able to rekindle the magic that they were able to spark last year. With Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, the Oklahoma City Thunder fans have a lot to look forward to in 2012.

The 2010 NBA coach of the year will have his work cut out for him next year as the Oklahoma City Thunder will try to bounce back after they were eliminated in the semi-finals of last years playoffs by the Dallas Mavericks. Scott Brooks currently has a career record of 72-79 but he was able to lead the Thunder to a 50-32 record in 2010. In his first full year as a head coach, he was able to improve the Thunder record by 27 games. Though there were other coaches that led teams to better records, Brooks was chosen as the best coach because how he was able to fully turn the franchise around. Brooks was also chosen as the February of 2010 coach of the month when the Thunder had a 9-2 record, the highest winning percentage for a month by the organization since 1997.

One of the best strengths that the Thunder coach has is that he knows how to handle the superstars on his team. Though Kevin Durant is known to be one of the nicest guys in the league, it is still a challenge to have the most prolific scorer in the league. As Durant can score at anytime, he will then have to figure out how many touches each player will get. When the Thunder reached the playoffs last year, it was the organization 2nd time it reached the playoffs.

Before he was appointed as the head coach for the Thunder, his professional coaching career started with the Denver Nuggets. He was the Nugget’s assistant coach under George Karl for three years from 2003 to 2006. He was able to help the Nuggets make it to the playoffs in all the seasons that he was with the organization. Brooks then became the assistant coach for the Sacramento Kings in 2006.

Brooks was also a great player himself where he played college basketball at UC Irvine and averaged almost 24 points per game. He then went on to play for the Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Houston Rockets,	Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers before he retired as a player and decided to try coaching. He then became the official head coach for the Oklahoma City Thunder 13 games into the 2008-2009 season.

The Oklahoma City Thunder coach looks to utilize all the star power that he currently has with his roster and looks to bring the young but very talented Thunder team back to the playoffs. Though the NBA lockout has more of their players just waiting, Kevin Durant has been seen playing in various charity games to help keep him in shape. One of the key players that Brooks has to focus on is point guard Russell Westbrook as he was one of the main reasons why the team lost in the playoffs last year. If Brooks is able to get a hold of Westbrook and get him ready for the 2012 season, the Thunder might become one of the most dangerous teams in the league. This will make finding Oklahoma City Thunder tickets very hard, so purchase your tickets now.

There is nothing like buying Thunder tickets to help give your team the advantage. Imagine thousands of screaming and rabid fans cheering you on as your home team destroys the away team. This is what makes the Thunder Arena special in so many ways. This is the Thunder Arena mystique. If you want to watch a sports event live, this arena will certainly serve all your wants and needs.

Historically speaking, the Thunder Arena was known as the Ford Arena from 2002 up to 2010. From 2010 to 2011, the arena was renamed Oklahoma City Arena. However, news broke out just this July that the arena will be renamed a third time. This time the name will be the Chesapeake Energy Arena. This deal was worth $3 million dollars and will surely promote natural gas as a brand for the company Chesapeake Energy Corporation.

Indeed, this will be a big boon for basketball, and sports in general, as improvements in the amenities will surely manifest from the deal made. Remember, the seating capacity of the Thunder Arena is almost 20,000 (18,203 to be exact). The seats are spaced just right to promote a semblance of privacy, yet without compromising the camaraderie of every hoop fans that are seated next to each other. This is a rare combination in a public arena.

The improvements for the Thunder Arena just keeps on piling up day by day. You can wine and dine in the arena’s upscale restaurants. You can go dancing in high class clubs. You can also have family gatherings in the Kid’s zones. What more can you ask for in a modern and classy arena?

It is also important to mention that the Thunder Arena also offers specialty suites. Businesses that need offices near the city should take advantage of these office spaces. That said, since this arena attracts so much business in the area, police visibility and safety is at an all-time high. You can be sure that you are protected in every imaginable way when you are eating out or just watching the ballgame.

Aside from purchasing Thunder tickets, the Thunder Arena is a Mecca for sports events and sports entertainment. In fact, this arena is the choice venue for WWE events. The reason is that the seating capacity is very robust and the amenities in the arena are just superb.

In addition, the Thunder Arena is just adjacent to the Cox Convention Center. This convention center is another spot where anyone can bring the family and have some good, clean fun. It is another place where some of the most important sports events are held.

Suffice it to say, if you are near the Thunder Arena, you already know how great the amenities are in this place. If you are new to Oklahoma, then it is a must-visit if you are a sports fan. The place is clean, spacious, and just lovely. You will surely have a good time with your loved ones.

The Oklahoma City Thunder is a professional basketball team based in Oklahoma City, and is one of the participating teams coming out of the Northwest Division of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Western Conference. The franchise’s home stadium is the Ford Stadium, Oklahoma City. It was formerly known as the Seattle Supersonics that beat the Washington Bullets for the 1979 NBA World Championship. That team also won the NBA division title six times, and qualify for the NBA playoffs twenty times. In 2008, due to a dispute between franchise owner Clay Bennett and Seattle lawmakers, the team was relocated to Oklahoma City and became the franchise as it is today.

The team’s current head coach is Scott Brooks who succeeded P.J. Carlesimo. Gary Payton, who played for the team almost his entire career from 1990 – 2003, is the team’s all time leader in points, assists and steals. Because of his outstanding defensive talent, he went on to become known as “The Glove” due in large part to his excellent ability of shutting down the opposing team’s point guards. He won the Defensive Player Of The Year award in 1996 earning the unique distinction as the only other guard besides Michael Jordan to have won the honor. Ray Allen was another famous player who played six seasons with the team, and went on to break the record for the most three-point field goals in a regular season by converting 269 of his shots in 2005-06 season. Other Hall of Fame inductees who have served the team are Bill Russell, Lenny Wilkens, K.C. Jones, and Patrick Ewing.

The Oklahoma City Thunder has embarked on a captivating journey as they are now on the verge of taking over the reigns from the aging Los Angeles Lakers, and are poised to rule the NBA Western Conference for many years to come. The team had made an incredible turnaround in its second season by winning 50 of its regular season games, a marked improvement from its disappointing 22 wins the previous season which was their first as a franchise. It was during at this time when the team unearthed a gem in the person of Kevin Durant, who went on to lead the league in scoring in 2010-2011 season. He is now ably supported by the likes of start point guard Russell Westbrook and the versatile Jeff Green, forming a trio that is very formidable when firing on all cylinders.

Curiously, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were instrumental in leading Team USA to the 2010 FIBA World Basketball Championship. Durant was just only warming up because by the time the 2010 – 2011 season was over, he had already established a new record by becoming the youngest scoring leader in league history, with an average of 30.1 points per game and emerged as the second youngest player to reach 4,000 career points. Not only that, Durant also established a franchise record by scoring 2,472 points in a single season and making it to the All NBA First Team selection in only his third season. Amidst all these glowing achievements, Russell Westbrook, on the other hand, had silently made his own mark as he won the Player Of The Week honors on the first week of February 2011. He was a constant fixture of the team on all the 82 games of the regular season.

The fans, players, and the entire Oklahoma City Thunder franchise are all united in wishing for the good things to happen and great games to be played in the coming years. With all the talents that they have starting from their head coach, who, by the way, had won the Coach Of The Year award in 2010, their franchise player Kevin Durant, and the ever improving Russell Westbrook, the future indeed looks bright for this Oklahoma City Thunder team. I will be sure to hold on tightly to my Thunder tickets because it should be worth big money.

As the young Oklahoma City Thunder team is getting ready for the 2011-2012 season, fans can’t wait to see the Thunder schedule unfold. With the likes of Russell Westbrook and Kevind Durant, Oklahoma fans should definitely be excited. Right when the season starts the Thunder will get their first chance at revenge versus the team that eliminated them in the playoffs in 2011, the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are undoubtedly one of the most exciting and talented teams in the NBA. In 2010-2011, only the third year in the franchise’s existence, they advanced to the conference finals before finally losing to the eventual NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks. The Thunder would be definite contenders for the title in 2011-2012 if the NBA season is played, but due to a stalemate in contract negotiations between teams and players, that is less than definite.

NBA season games have already been canceled through November 14th. If an agreement between teams and players can be reached, the Thunder schedule will have an exciting match-up presenting itself early in the season when they face the Los Angeles Lakers on November 23rd. The Lakers dispatched the Thunder from the playoffs in the 2009-2010 season, before going on to win the championship. The teams have developed something of a rivalry, as they represent two perpetual contenders in the Western Conference. Also, Oklahoma City forward Kevin Durant is thought to be taking the place of Lakers guard Kobe Bryant as the best player in the West. Thus, when the two teams play it is a face off between the old and new faces of the NBA.

On December 29th, fans should expect Thunder tickets to sell out quick because they will get the opportunity to avenge their playoff defeat from last year when they play the Dallas Mavericks at home. Last year, Dallas beat the Thunder with their depth and three-point shooting, as well as fantastic play from superstar forward Dirk Nowitski. With another year of maturity under their belts, however, it’s difficult to see how Dallas can match up with the dual threat of Kevin Durant and guard Russell Westbrook.

On March 1st, the Thunder will travel to Orlando to take on the Orlando Magic. This will surely be a game that’s circled on the Magic schedule, as Dwight Howard and company will be anxious to see how they stack up against Kevin Durant and the Thunder. Howard is one of the strongest under-the-basket presences in the league, and his bruising style contrasts with the finesse play of the Thunder. This game may be important to both teams in determining playoff position.

On March 25th, Fans should buy their Thunder tickets early because the Miami Heat travel to Oklahoma City. The Heat were runners-up for the NBA Championship last year, and should contend again this year due to their big three players: Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh. If the Thunder are looking for a test to see if they are playoff ready, you couldn’t ask for a better one than the Heat. Beating Miami right before the playoffs would be a great confidence booster for a young Oklahoma City team.

The Thunder schedule is packed with exciting games and should provide fans with an entertaining season as they watch Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook cement themselves as the most dangerous tandem in basketball. Of course, this is all dependent on the end of the NBA lockout. Hopefully an agreement can be reached, and we’ll have a late start to basketball this season instead of none at all!

Must See Games

November 1 vs Los Angeles Lakers @ Los Angeles

This first game of the season will be a great battle between two of the best players in the league today, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant.

November 23 vs Los Angeles Lakers @ Oklahoma

Three weeks into the season and the two teams meet again but this time in Oklahoma. The Thunder crowd will be drenched in blue again and be sure to hear the raucous crowd cheer their home team on.

December 14 vs Orlando @ Oklahoma

The Thunder will then face one of the most dangerous teams in the East. The game will feature an incredible match-up of Serge Ibaka and Dwight Howard, two of the most prolific centers in the league today.

December 29 vs Dallas Mavericks @ Oklahoma

Dirk Nowitzi and the defending champs then visit Oklahoma two days before 2012 rings in. The game will feature the two best scorers in the league with Dirk and Kevin.

January 13 vs New York Knicks @ Oklahoma

As one of the most star studded games of the year, the game will have Amar’e, Carmelo and the rest of the Thunder. One of the very few games that you simply cannot miss.

February 22 vs Boston Celtics @ Oklahoma

Oklahoma will definitely be playing one of the best teams in East in the Boston Celtics and if there were any predictions of the 2012 NBA finals, this might be a possible match-up.

March 25 vs Miami Heat @ Oklahoma

This is surely the game most Thunder fans are looking forward to as they will be able to all the stars under one roof. Dwayne Wade, Kevind Durant, Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, Chris Bosh and the rest of the players will take center stage in Oklahoma.

April 1 vs Chicago Bulls @ Oklahoma

On April fools day the Thunder will take on the best point guard in the league, Derrick Rose. The 2011 MVP vs Kevin Durant will be live on ABC.

April 8 vs Los Angeles Laker @ Oklahoma

As the Lakers make their final visit to Oklahoma, the two best teams in the West will battle one more time before the Playoffs begin.

There are so many “must see” games and season ticket holders will definitely enjoy this 2011-2012 season. Though there are plenty games to see, here is a game that you can skip.

March 9 vs Cleveland @ Oklahoma

As the worst team in the league, this can definitely be a game to miss. Though the team is starting to improve, it will take a while before the Cavs get anywhere in this league.
